Our beautiful new website is up and running, so that would be the first bit of exciting news to share. It is easy to use, vibrant with pictures and colors, and we feel gives you a great view into our Bolton Landing hotel and about us. With that being said, it brings us to the next bit of news. For 22 years, we have been running as the Boathouse Bed and Breakfast, which we have enjoyed. From meeting new guests to welcoming back our die hard repeat guests, creating new and exciting breakfasts to some old favorites, sharing our stories and getting to know your stories, and from sharing our home with you to you giving us an insight into your adventures; we cannot express how grateful we are to you.
Joe and I are not getting any younger, and we still want to share with you our home in the Lake George and Adirondack area, but in order to make that happen we have discontinued our full breakfast, replacing it with pastries, and will now be known as Boathouse Waterfront Lodging. We are so very excited about this, because you will still get to experience this magnificent property and boutique hotel in Bolton Landing, NY. For those of you who already have visited, you are already aware of our uniquely named and decorated guest rooms, the spectacular architecture and history, the grand front porch that hangs directly over the water, all of the rockers on the docks, the firepit, and our swim area right from the lawn. For our new guests, we welcome you into our home and hope that you enjoy your visit.
While breakfast might be a bit different, you are now at your leisure to have it at any time you would like to. Joe and I will still be on the property and cannot wait to get to talk with you, enjoy that morning cup of coffee, and guide you through our wonderful area full of activities and places to visit. We have refrigerators in the all of rooms, so you can bring your breakfast with you, pick up something at one of the eateries, and still enjoy the views of the lake and the mountains while you eat it here. There will be 24 hour coffee and tea in the great room and a microwave and toaster to use as well (some suites already will have those items in them).
